Fleshing out cache spec. I am currently envisioning two main classes:

1. `CacheStore` : abstract class representing specific storage medium (RAM, folder on local-disk, s3 bucket)
2. `CacheCtrl` : objects of this class actual manage multiple `CacheStore` objects and are the interface that `Node` objects use to interact with the caching system. In theory there could be one global `CacheCtrl` object or each `Node` could even have its own `CacheCtrl` object in which case multiple `CacheCtrl` objects could share `CacheStore` objects or not.
