All sweep events come in pairs of a right and left sweep event, for the
same point, for different segments. This commit makes it so that those
pairs of right and left sweep events are marked as &amp;amp;amp;#39;linked&amp;amp;amp;#39; from the
get-go, resulting in minor performance and memory improvements.
