Properly supporting 'None' objects

Our delayed applications did not properly support 'None' arguments;
probably as a result of our earliest implementations they were wrongly
treated as special citizens, leading to None dereferences when building
the graph. This new implementation doesn't treat them specially anymore,
but makes sure that _DataDrops work correctly with None values.

New unit tests ensure this is working correctly across all 'delayed'
implementations.
