Commit Message

Deprecate and ignore most regisry arguments.

Instead, directly call the interface we need to adapt from where
possible. (Where not possible, use the component APIs so we are
consistent.)

This lets things like `interface.directlyProvide(obj,
IInternalObjectExternalizer)` work. Plus it checks out as slightly faster.
