Disable checking for responses on SSO pings

Ore currently returns 500s sometimes, and it's causing Auth to 500.

Temporarily disable checking the status code of responses until this is moved into a background task that doesn't affect the user's experience (and make people blame Auth for Ore returning a 500...)
