Fix attribute definitions on inherited resources

Inherited resources did not correctly inherited defined attributes from
the superclass since commit 7cf1d1135 (Apr 2014, v0.43). This commit
fixes the lookup of defined attributes and adds some specs for testing the
lookup. It also removes the #attribute_types method broken since commit
f7e4109 (Sep 2013, v0.23).
