Operations implying split refactor, stage 2

A lesser added value than stage 1: Split execute is
now being done by the mixin.

Also, in that context, the comment was becoming more
confusing than anythin else, simplified it as well.

Still not a clue about good practices for flush(), just
doing enough to make the test pass.
