Fixed default vault_pass file, removed --tree

Expanded the ~ in the default vault password file option, this doesn't
happen automatically anywhere down the line so needs to be done here.

Removed the --tree option, it served no real purpose (it just cat the
config.yaml effectively) and it behaved unreliably.
