Add page split layout utility methods

Previously logic was duplicated in pageflow-chart and
pageflow-embedded-video, but needed to get more complicated to handle
the following cases:

* Hidden title: When the title has been hidden we need to measure the
  page content.

* Temporarily hidden text: When the user clicks the "hide text"
  button, the content text moves out to the left. We need to account
  for this changed position when measuring the space left and right of
  the content.
