Fail test if verified server does not close

Previously, we waited 10 iterations for the verified server to close,
and if it did not, we just ignored it and checked exchanges.

Now, we do the following:
 - 5 iterations of runtime.Gosched
 - 5 iterations of time.Sleep(1 * Millisecond)
 - If the channel still hasn't closed, fail the test
