Add unit tests and modified function_addon and mock helper for fixed and passed in functions. (#369)

* added unit tests and modified function addon

* Removed tests which is not dependent on ViChar and fixed buffer issue. Created new PR#412 with removed tests

* fixed tox.ini. Updated as earlier

* Adding functions with fixed string to functions_addon

* Added commented out system tests

* Updating generated

* Moving tests to have all fixed / passed in string unit tests next to each other

* Uncommenting tests

* Updating back to single character

* Updating mock helper to get tests to pass. Causes failures in read_multipoint
