Add a separate spec for the Demo::Core application

This shows that applications built with substation
can be layered on top of other applications also
built with substation, while the applications
themselves can still be used standalone.

TODO:

* Fix the pending spec for malformed input
* Refactor the demo app to be more idiomatic
