To achieve this, stop using the response&amp;#39;s &amp;#39;text&amp;#39; property which
attempts automatic decoding (and gets it wrong) and instead use
&amp;#39;content&amp;#39;.

When handling JSON data, determine the encoding in use using
requests.utils.guess_json_utf().
