end-to-end: Try running in Chrome on Travis CI

The end-to-end failure under PhantomJS 1.9.8 doesn't appear when running
under Phantom 2.1.1. Rather than try to install an updated PhantomJS as
a workaround, I found tips on running a headless Google Chrome to
execute the tests instead from:

This required migrating to the Ubuntu Trusty environment, rather than
the default Ubunty Precise environment:
