Symmetry properties of pwl interpolation

The computation of the piecewise linear expression is splitted into
symmetric and dissymetric part.
Symmetric part only needs half of the dataset to be calculated, saving
computation time. The dissymetric part is calculated as specified in
Chua, L., & Ying, R. (1983). Then both expressions are added.
