Improved logging for persistence errors (#57)

* PE-1484 changed log level for events with exceptions to error. BatchUpdateExceptions are now logged with all chained errors

* - added tests
- made the event publisher testable
- implemented alternate function forgetting chained Exception strings

* Another alternate version of the function

* Changed concatenated messages to be added as field nested exceptions
