Deprecate some methods in scopedef_t

This allows to reduce the number of entry points to 1.
There should be only one way to access stuff. If people
want to rename the methods, they can do it in their own code.

This simplifies maintenance, and will allow faster refactoring later.
Some of these methods were untested. Also, they had no docstring,
which is also bad.
