Checkbox-tree implementation of a Taxonomy

 - automatic checking of parent categories - IRL this should be done
   in the client so that the user can see what's going on interatively;
 - WIP - no tests yet;
 - in principle we might want validation of this in the API, don't know
   how to do that yet.
