Upgrade to Hibernate 5.2 (#1871)

* Upgrade to Hibernate 5.2

 - fix deprecation notices where type isn't exposed on DW public API (AbstractDAO API doesn't change)
 - upgrade Jadira usertypes to compatible version

* Hibernate 5.2 wraps SQL exceptions in PersistenceExceptions, update tests

* Bump Hibernate from 5.2.5 to 5.2.7

* Commiting transactions explicitly and review comments

* Migrate to new Hibernate Query object

* Upgrade to generic Query<E> and add API for JPA Criteria

* Avoid NPE on PersistenceExceptionMapper

PersistenceExceptionMapper to only get triggered when the unwrapped
exception can be mapped to an error response
