* ci: bump engines.node to >=20 and drop Node 18 from CI matrix

meow@14 requires Node >=20, so the previous engines.node: >=18 declaration is incorrect. Bumped both subpackages and removed the Node 18 cell from the lints/tests matrix in checks.yaml. Aligns with the Node version used elsewhere at simpleclub.
