Silently Merge branch 'dev' into 0.58.x -- SEE NOTE

This merges dev-post-80 backwards into 58.x without accepting any of the
current changeset. Everything being skipped is related to the legacy
Media Controller being replaced with the Godot Media Controller.

Work continues in dev, now reflective of 80 as the modern line of work
with 58.x being the legacy support version that must do more complex
merges for backported features.
