Fixes in support of clojure-test-suite (#1305)

This commit contains a large group of Clojure-compatibility changes and
fixes that were discovered by running the
[clojure-test-suite](https://github.com/jank-lang/clojure-test-suite)
against Basilisp. It does not contain every such fix, only relatively
straightforward fixes that could be changed and tested in a few lines.
Subsequent changesets will fix the outstanding issues.
