feature(#374): Initial support for YAML input files.

- Rework {json,yaml,xml} unit tests to be much more comprehensive.
- Update docs
- Add smoke tests, update trial/getting started docs, arch diagram.
- Migrate from pylint -> ruff for static static analysis, as pylint has been
  having a problem with asteroid for months now.
