Less moving of values & apply some clippy pedantic lints (#103)

* refactor(application): change "forward_to_subscriptions" to take a reference to the vector

As the returned vector directly gets pushed into the other vector, this just reduces moving around values.

* style: apply clippy auto fix (with pedantic)

* style: apply some pedantic clippy suggestions

* fix: replace "AsRef<str>" with "Into<String>" in places that always clone

* style: fix most doc links

* style(lib): add missing "async-ports" feature to docs
