SALTO-6286, SALTO-7280: Fix escaping of template expressions (#7149)

This fixes an issue where it was impossible to tell the difference between an escaped reference marker \${ and a real reference that had a \ before it.
The effect of this change is that all \ leading up to a template marker will now be escaped (turned into \\)
