Commit Message

align_and_pad_cell() returns list instead of str.

It's inefficient having align_and_pad_cell() join the list of lines it
generates internally back into a string, only to have that string split
up elsewhere in the code. Keeping it a list here. It'll pay off once I'm
done refactoring the rest of the project.
