Commit Message

Fix restore command. Closes #2863

The implementation files were not being cached in the instance; they were
being reassembled each time. Merging in the user's solution didn't end up
affecting the output.

In addition, we weren't actually mutating the hash. Which is usually a good thing,
but whatever.
