Rewrite autocompletion rendering to use pseudo-elements

This allows the autocomplete placeholder to interact with the
surrounding text, meaning it will wrap lines properly when the typed
text reaches the edge of the editor viewport.

The new problem is that performance is not that great. There is a great
deal of jerkiness as the user types out the completion. I envision two
main solutions to this:

- Solution 1: Move the autocompletion logic from a dedicated worker back
  to the main thread, which should reduce the latency but is undesirable
- Solution 2: implement an optimization that would skip fetching the
  completions if the concatenation of the already-typed text and the
  placeholder text remains the same
