When I started this gem I was using EventMachine at work and I wanted
some of the earlier abstractions to play nicely with EM. So I created
EventMachineDeferProxy to faciliate that interoperability. Much has
changed since then. I no longer feel there is much reason to use this
gem with EM. Also, we've worked hard to keep this gem dependency-free
and interpreter-neutral. EM integration doesn't really support either of
those goals.
