Replace should.notify(done) with returned Promises

I'd originally used `should.notify(done)` based on the advice from
https://www.npmjs.com/package/chai-as-promised#working-with-non-promisefriendly-test-runners.
However, returning the generated Promise is sufficient for Mocha.
