add content template helper

This is the start of content sections (#416), and it just looks nicer to
not have the sigils in the templates. It will look a lot nicer when we
can get rid of the terrible prelude that we do unwinding `%args` (and
the bugs that are lurking there when you don't give it the args that it
expects...)
