Covers programmable completion (complete/compgen/compopt, COMP_* variables,
bash-completion helpers, dynamic loading), Readline (.inputrc, bind, keymaps,
completion display variables), quoting and expansion (all quoting mechanisms,
expansion order, word splitting, COMP_WORDBREAKS in completion), execution
model (subshells, pipelines, job control, signals, traps, PROMPT_COMMAND),
and startup files (login/non-login decision flow, shell options, completion
installation locations).
