Update supported Python versions: add 3.14, drop EOL 3.8 and 3.9 (#53)

* Update supported Python versions: add 3.14, drop EOL 3.8 and 3.9

Add Python 3.14 (released Oct 2025) — passes the existing suite unchanged.
Drop end-of-life 3.8 (EOL Oct 2024) and 3.9 (EOL Oct 2025), which no longer
receive security fixes, raising the floor to 3.10.

- requires-python -> ">=3.10"
- trove classifiers: drop 3.8/3.9, add 3.14
- ruff target-version -> py310
- CI test matrix -> 3.10-3.14
- README support-range notes updated
