Add py3.14 (#358)

* Add py3.14

* Do not use mpl internal variables anymore

* set grid=False in SmoothBivariateSpline

* classic plot mpl test style

* Update plot for new matplotlib

This reverts commit 8ae365fb5.

* check images only for low pythons

* pytest.skip mpl test
