Merge pull request #28 from tomalrussell/docs/asset

Use numpydoc style for asset docstrings; pass all pre-commit hooks.

- moved pytest fixtures to conftest.py to make them available to all tests without explicitly importing, which flake8 was flagging as unused imports.
- raised the max-line-length to 95 in the project setup.cfg
