Don't look up missing `__foo__` attributes

For reasons I don't quite understand, looking up the `__` methods with
`__gettattr__` and this implementation was causing infinite recursion
when de-serializing a pickled Base object. Since the purpose of this
code is simply to expose json attributes at the object level, we pass
`__foo__` methods on to the superclass.
