Chat polish (#332)

* Tests: stop the pagehide test from aborting the browser run

vitest browser 5.0.4 (#317) watches each test iframe for pagehide and, when
no reload follows within 5s, reports the iframe as broken and aborts the
file. The draft-teardown test dispatched a real pagehide on window, so under
full-suite load the runner dropped the rest of that browser instance's files
and the merged coverage gate failed. The test now calls the composer's own
pagehide listener directly, so the runner never sees the event.

* Chat: a little more room between messages

A message that starts a group (a new author or a time gap) gets 12px above
and 8px below instead of 6px, so separate messages no longer run together.
Follow-on lines from the same author keep their tight spacing.

* Chat: avatar beside the message again, a size up

The author's avatar moves back into a column beside the message (instead
of above it, next to the name), enlarged to 40px. Grouped rows keep a
matching 40px column for their hover time, so the text lines up on every
row; the thread card's "Show more replies" lines up with it too.

* Chat: avatar rides a little above the name line

The avatar sat 2px below the top of the name line; it now rises 4px above
it, so the circle bleeds slightly over the top of the message.
