chore: Require Go 1.25 and fix new lint issues (#179)

* chore: Require Go 1.25 and enable more linters

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor: Modernise for Go 1.25

Use the built-in min and max functions, range over integers, drop the
loop variable copies that are no longer needed, use testing.B.Loop and
add package comments.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor: Use static errors and wrap external errors

Replace the errors created inline with unexported package-level errors
and wrap errors from other packages with context. Errors that signal
the end of a stream are still returned as io.EOF so callers that
compare against it directly keep working.

packed.NewReadCloser no longer returns an error as it could never fail.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor: Remove named returns

Rewrite the Read and Close methods and their helpers without named or
naked returns. Errors from reading raw data are now wrapped with
context, while io.EOF is still passed through as is.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: Check table offsets fit in an int64

The partition, raw data and group table offsets in the disc header were
converted to int64 without checking, so a crafted value would become a
negative offset. Reject them, and route the remaining conversions of
validated values through helpers that note why they are safe.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor: Order methods and check Close errors

Place exported methods before unexported ones, and explicitly ignore
Close errors where they don't matter. The CLI now reports a failure to
close the target, which could mean it's incomplete.

Split reading the hash exceptions out of groupReader so the reader can
be closed on error without relying on named results, and split the
file handling out of the CLI's decompress action.
