* perf: share expansion strategy updates across the tree

Dispatch strategy changes through one subscription per viewer while
preserving manual toggles, lazy child caching, and navigation cleanup.
Keep container registration across empty/nonempty transitions and
combine renderer type classification into one derived value.

Add regression coverage for callback identity and controller lifecycle.
