fix: restore constant-time token comparison lost in the rebase

The branch predates master's checkToken helper and carried its own inlined
token check, so the rebase merged cleanly onto a plain string comparison and
dropped subtle.ConstantTimeCompare. Restoring the helper also completes auth
before the summary pre-checks, which otherwise told an unauthenticated caller
whether an OpenAI key is configured.
