update dependencies keeping the go directive at 1.23 (#8)

testify v1.10.0 -> v1.12.0, which also drops go-spew and difflib from the
module graph, and golang.org/x/sync v0.10.0 -> v0.11.0.

x/sync v0.12.0 and later declare go 1.23.0 and would rewrite the directive
of this module, so the bump stops at v0.11.0, the last release that leaves
it untouched.
