Fix of the queries with large radii just below 35 degrees  (#49)

This fixes a set of queries (joins and cone search) with radii just below 35. In some areas of the sky that lead to objects being missed as well as could have lead to crashes.

* fix the OOBs
* fix an issue with large ellipses producing degenerate curves on some cube faces
* make sure to cache ellipse  axis ratio and PA when doing ellipse_query
* undo whitespace changes

Bug found and patches design with help of Claude
