lint: adapt reopen support to the strict configuration

Reopen support landed on master before this branch enabled the strict
golangci-lint configuration, so the two met only after the rebase and
`make lint` reported 12 issues.

- Annotate the unwrapped error from Outputs.Reopen, matching Close.
- Replace inline error handling with plain assignments.
- Add the whitespace wsl_v5 wants around the signal handling and defers.
- Range over the goroutine count instead of an index loop.
- Give both reopen examples an Output comment so go test actually runs
  them, and write to a temporary directory so they leave nothing in /tmp.
