fix: forward request content and response types (#64)

* fix: forward request content and response types

Pass contentType and responseType through makeRequest so both retry and non-retry paths preserve endpoint-specific request options before reaching the API client.

Add coverage for forwarding behavior in both paths.

* test: glob test files in mocha scripts
