docs: introduce VisPy ecosystem landing page (#2760)

This PR replaces the current `vispy.org` homepage with a clearer
introduction to what VisPy offers today and where the project is
heading.

VisPy has provided GPU-based scientific visualization in Python since
2013. The current OpenGL library remains stable and widely used. The
core next-generation GPU rendering technology is now available in the
Datoviz 0.4 release candidate, a usable lower-level engine for C and
Python that is planned to power VisPy 2.

VisPy 2 builds on that engine with higher-level plotting and application
APIs. It uses the Graphics Server Protocol (GSP), a renderer-independent
description of scientific graphics that can target Datoviz, Matplotlib,
and future backends. Much of VisPy 2 and GSP is already implemented and
available to explore, but their APIs remain experimental while we
prepare an initial release. A [GSP white
paper](https://github.com/vispy/GSP_API/blob/main/whitepaper/gsp-whitepaper.pdf)
describes the approach in more detail.

The new homepage presents the current and future paths clearly to
newcomers: use VisPy today, try the Datoviz release candidate, and
explore the developing VisPy 2 architecture. Existing documentation and
deep links remain in place.

Datoviz 0.4 is now available as a public release candidate, so this PR
is ready to merge. Merging to `main` automatically publishes the new
homepage to `vispy.org`.
