DEC-1210:
- Updated to use the newer method for authenticating/authorizing access to docs.
- This still does not work in IE. I've even backed it all the way out to just having the gapi render the signin button, but still have issues similar to those described here https://github.com/googleplus/gplus-quickstart-javascript/issues/12. At this point it's either somehow having this embedded in react is causing problems (can't see how), or it has to do with it running under http, not https in development. Those are the only two remaining differences from the simple example given.
