Piece.place() now reuses an existing .ldr/.dat extension when the default suffix is in effect.
Piece.place("body.ldr").reference now returns BODY.LDR.
[ldraw/model.py (line 21)](/Users/haroldmartin/Downloads/pyldraw3/ldraw/model.py:21): imports BomRow under TYPE_CHECKING, removes _BomRowLike, and returns list[BomRow].
[ldraw/bom.py (line 31)](/Users/haroldmartin/Downloads/pyldraw3/ldraw/bom.py:31): replaces the protocol method ... body with raise NotImplementedError.
The example tests now resolve the repo root and example script paths before running from tmp_path, and invoke uv run --project <repo> so uv still uses the project environment while the script runs in an isolated directory. I also replaced the incorrect “must create .ldr file” assertion with a stdout assertion, since these examples print LDraw output.
