refactor(tabs): Code cleanup and documentation (#2284)

Cleaned up the tabs component code by removing unused
methods, adding documentation, and improving readability.

Added support for prefers-reduced-motion media query
on the indicator transition to enhance accessibility for users
who prefer reduced motion in their system settings.
