Fix input path mount touching on task retry (#895)

Placeholder mount points for task inputs were always being touched under the first-try `work/` directories, whereas during retries they should have been touched under `work2/`, ... , ` workN/`. Most of the time it didn't matter because most container runtime configurations auto-touch the necessary mount points anyway. But not all...

Map container work paths through the current host work directory, and reset backend input-bind state between attempts. Add unit coverage for copy-input and mount-placeholder retries.
