ci: consolidate GitLab CI pipeline into a single sequential job

Update .gitlab-ci.yml to merge all install, check, test, and build stages into
a single "ci" job that runs sequentially, replicating the GitHub Actions flow.
Also increase timeout settings in the E2E security connection test to 60 seconds
to prevent pre-push test failures under heavy concurrent CPU load.
